Images from around the school

Each year, the Year 5 children have the opportunity to sign up to the school's residential trip for Year 6 children.  This usually takes place within the first week or two of the children returning to school, into year 6, after the summer holidays.  The trip lasts four days and the children have the opportunity to participate in a variety of outdoor activities, including rock climbing, high ropes, canoeing, quad biking and raft building, to name but a few.  They are accompanied by staff at all times either from school or from PGL.  We usually hold an information evening before parents commit to the trip to provide further information and to view photos from the previous year's trip.  It is a wonderful experience that the children thoroughly enjoy.  Whilst on the trip they will acquire new skills and accomplish feats not previously undertaken, boosting confidence and self-esteem.  The trip is always talked about for some time afterwards!

Please have a look at some of the galleries on this website which show the children from this year on their trip.
