Parent Powered
Our school gets a huge amount of help from parents and grandparents to give the children as many opportunities, help and support as possible at school. It wouldn’t be possible to do what we do without them.
Parents take on roles as Governors or on the Parents, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA) – see the Our Community section for more details.
Some of our parents come in regularly to help take the children swim, to be reading buddies or to offer voluntary help in the classroom.
Other parents and family members accompany school trips or come and help with building / making projects. We also get great help with one off projects where parents have specialist skills to help us.
