Year 6 Adventure Residential - PGL

Each year, the Year 6 children have the opportunity to go on a residential trip to PGL at Caythorpe (near Grantham) which usually takes place in the fourth week of Year 6.  It lasts 3 days and the children have the opportunity to participate in a variety of outdoor activities, including rock climbing, high ropes, canoeing, quad biking and raft building, to name but a few. The purpose of the trip is to promote independence, overcome challenges and develop interpersonal skills.

We hold a PGL session after the Year 5 welcome talk in September for parents to learn more about the trip and have the opportunity to ask questions before booking a place for their child. It is a wonderful experience that the children thoroughly enjoy and is the topic of conversation for some time afterwards.
