In Y2, our children have been learning about the Great Fire of London and the topic has been linked with Art. The children created fantastic scenes of the Great Fire of London using a technique called ‘oil pastel resist’. The scenes were inspired by paintings of the Great Fire of London and we then made our pictures using oil pastels with watercolour paints to create an effective finished product. #prideandjoy #nurtureandgrow #engageandinspire
