Today, our Y2 children enjoyed a visit from Zara Nargis, a practising Muslim and teacher at a Peterborough school. The children were full of questions about their current topic in RE, about going on Hajj, an annual pilgrimage to Mecca, which takes place next week. The children were thoroughly engrossed in everything Zara said and she was really impressed with our Y2 children's behaviour, friendliness and knowledge. #prideandjoy #engageandinspire #nurtureandgrowth
