This week, our Y1 children walked to Stamford Library to encourage their love of reading, as well as having an opportunity to explore their local area. They were treated to a wonderful talk and a tour by the librarian who ended the visit by reading them a beautiful story and a funny limerick! The children were amazed at the hundreds of books available to borrow for free and all expressed an interest in wanting to join the library!!!
