Two of our LKS2 pupils have won prizes in The Rotary Club Young Artist of the Year Competition. Poppy Brocklebank (Y3L) won first prize with her paint/collage picture and Sophie Simpson (Y4W) gained third place with her coloured pencil drawing. They were awarded their certificates and Coleman’s vouchers by Mr Jim Guthrie, Secretary of The Stamford Rotary Club during Monday assembly. This is the fourth year this competition has been run and all Stamford school pupils are invited to take part. The theme this year was ‘Reflection’. Congratulations to Poppy and Sophie! #prideandjoy
