The Lead Designated Safeguarding Officer for the school is Mr Tim Cox, Vice-Principal.  Our deputy Safeguarding Leads are Mr Tristan Revell, Principal, Mrs Allison Buck, Pastoral Lead Y5/6, Mrs Anna Reid, Pastoral Lead Y3/4 and Mrs Kerry Hargreaves, Pastoral Lead FS-Y2. Our safeguarding trustee is Mrs Adele Donaghie.

We take safeguarding very seriously. The culture and ethos of our school promotes a proactive approach to early intervention to support children and families who may be in need. We actively encourage concerns around the safeguarding of children and families to be reported, no matter how small, and will both support and robustly challenge the protection of children from harm. 

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and expect all staff share this commitment. All posts will be subject to at least an enhanced DBS disclosure, online social media, medical and reference checks. All pre-employment checks are in line with the current version of Keeping Children Safe In Education.
