We know that starting 'big' school for the first time can be a worrying time for both children and parents. Please be assured that we are experts in this and have successfully transitioned hundreds of children! We have a comprehensive transition process, including but not limited to liaising with nurseries, drop-in sessions and home visits. Please see below a letter sent from school to this year's new parents with the initial transition information, which does not obviously include all the work going on in school and behind the scenes. This letter gives you an indication of transition information, but please bear in mind that the dates and arrangements change year-on-year.

Mr Revell, our Principal, has also recorded a short video, below, to help reassure and explain to you all that we do to ensure your child has a happy and successful start with us. It also includes some tips for parents on how best to prepare your child to join 'big' school for the first time.
